The TLM operator guidance system is without a doubt the most important component of the TLM machine system. It supplies the decentralized control computers with all necessary information and contacts the operating personnel via one or more master computers. The TLM packaging machines are changed over on the master computer. The master computer indicates when maintenance work is due. The master computer is equipped with a construction diagram of the machine, knows all spare parts and can provide information on the current state of all computers, servo amplifiers and servomotors at any time. The entire operating manual is available, as are all maintenance and repair instructions. If faults occur anywhere, they are indicated immediately, as is the need to refill glue or packaging materials. The TLM Vision System can be checked on the master computer, parameters can be changed and, on top of all that, the whole thing is child's play to operate. And of course, users are informed at the end of their shift as to what went on in the course of the day. TLM packaging machines are controlled with two operating buttons - On or Off!
